Synchronization with time delay from a pulse-coupled network of spiking oscillators

We present a simple pulse-coupled network (PCN) of spiking oscillators (SOCs). The SOC has a periodic base and can generate chaotic spike-trains in which various unstable periodic spike-trains (UPSTs) are embedded. The PCN exhibits multi-phase synchronization with a spike-train input if the spikes pattern of the input is closed to one of the various UPSTs. In the multiphase synchronization, each SOC synchronizes with the input with a di erent time delay. Using a simple test circuit, typical phenomena are veri ed in the laboratory.
